Asia’s Finest honored at the 11th Asia CEO Awards

Amidst the many challenges, the country once again earned a reason to celebrate year 2020 as the largest business awards in the Asia Pacific Region, the 11th Asia CEO Awards (ACA), recognized outstanding individuals and organizations last October 13.

With the theme “United Towards First World”, ACA Chairman Richard Mills and its world-renowned board of judges bestowed the awardees with the honor of being the best in various business, innovation, leadership and development categories. 

Meanwhile, two giants received were recipients of the lifetime contributor awards, San Miguel’s President Ramon Ang, and Department of Agriculture’s Secretary William Dar.

Mills, who is also an awards juror, said that “this is leadership and service at its finest.” He shared that it was a tremendous task to select the awardees, but at the same time one of the most fulfilling.

Concentrix CVG Philippines, Inc. is KYANI WELLNESS COMPANY OF THE YEAR. It achieved holistic integration of physical, mental, & social well-being of their 85,000 employees. During the pandemic, they invested Php 3.56 billion for their staff and helped achieved 97% retention an all-time high satisfaction rating.

Elena Palacios, President and CEO of Lexmark Research & Development and Cebu SSC General Manager is JLL EXPATRIATE EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR. Her stellar career of over 30 years is full of recognition for achieving high level of customer satisfaction, enhancing consistent reduction of operational costs, and a consistent track record of driving improvement.

For the SMART ENTERPRISE GLOBAL FILIPINO EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR, the board of judges decided not to name one grand winner as they were unable to arrive at a majority decision as to who stands out from the Circle of Excellence.

LIFETIME CONTRIBUTOR AWARDEES for private sector is Ramon S. Ang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Top Frontier Investment Holdings, Inc., the largest shareholder of San Miguel Corporation. While for public sector, the awardee is Honorable William Dar, Secretary of the Department of Agriculture.
