    Changan expands in VisMin

    Inchcape Philippines, the official distributor of Changan Auto, has teamed up with Global Star Motors Corp. (GSMC) to open six dealerships to cater to Changan owners in Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Cagayan de Oro.

    “We see a lot of potential in the Changan brand and we are confident that, with the partnership with Inchcape, we are able to bring quality vehicles and services to the Visayas and Mindanao regions,” said Edward Vincent Onglatco, the President of GSMC.

    Positioning itself as the preferred vehicle of discerning Filipino car buyers, Changan offers a range of future-forward vehicles: the Alsvin subcompact sedan, a wide range of compact SUVs, the CS line and the Uni Series, and the brand’s latest 7-seater SUV, the X7Plus. All of these vehicles will be available in the aforementioned GSMC dealerships in Visayas and Mindanao.

    Ninja Van supports e-commerce

    Ninja Van Philippines, a tech-enabled express logistics company, signed a memorandum of understanding to commemorate its partnership with the Pasig City government.

    This partnership will lead to the development of action plans to promote security, business continuity, and the ease of delivery services within the City of Pasig.

    Ninja Van Philippines’ partnership with the Pasig City Government is the company’s latest nation-building initiative made in collaboration with local and national government bodies. Ninja Van has been working with the Department of Trade and Industry for capacity building among micro, small, and medium-scale enterprises.

    Sprout Solutions solidifies leadership

    Sprout Solutions, the Philippines’ largest homegrown B2B SaaS company and most trusted human resources technology provider, has acquired the Philippines operations of JustPayroll Inc.

    The agreement covers all existing local clients as well as employees. JustPayroll is a leading provider of enterprise-grade payroll solutions for the Philippine market, including timekeeping, scheduling, salary calculations, payroll outsourcing, and government reporting services.

    The acquisition offers JustPayroll customers an opportunity to be a part of Sprout’s community of over 1,000 client organizations, as well as an ecosystem of AI-powered solutions that automate and improve key HR processes across the employee lifecycle. New clients from JustPayroll will also continue to be serviced and guided through this transition period by their existing support contacts, now as employees of Sprout’s Customer Success team.

    Bayad powers GoTyme Bank

    Outsourced payment collection system provider Bayad sealed its partnership with GoTyme Bank, a joint venture between the Gokongwei group of companies and the multicountry digital banking group Tyme.

    Through its partnership with Bayad, GoTyme App enables bills payment services covering household utilities, tollway RFID load, e-loading, telco, internet, government contributions, and many others.

    Tailor-made for the increasingly e-payment savvy Filipino market, GoTyme App provides the convenience of one-stop-digital-shopping experience.

    With GoTyme Bank, customers can take advantage by having access to a variety of biller brands powered by Bayad. GoTyme and Bayad App users are also able to transfer funds with each other.

    Aboitiz Foundation Inc. welcomed its newest batch of scholar beneficiaries under the Aboitiz College Scholarship Program (ACSP)

    The scholarship program aims to provide educational opportunities to deserving students by providing financial assistance and supporting their overall growth and development through learning sessions and internships.

    This year’s batch of 10 scholars brings the total program beneficiaries to over 180 students. Scholars receive comprehensive support – from yearly tuition fee, monthly allowance, academic excellence incentives, and board review fees of the qualified scholars.
