Atty. Jay-Ryan Trinidad
Jay-Ryan M. Trinidad is a seasoned Legal and Compliance expert specializing in legal technology, labor practice, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and more. With dual master’s degrees in MBA and Juris Doctor from DLSU-FEU Consortium and HR credentials from Georgetown University, Washington DC, he offers a unique blend of legal and HR expertise.
As the Head of Professional Services for HR & Legal at Sprout Solutions and a licensed SHRM-SCP professional, Atty. Trinidad provides strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance, data protection, and top-notch corporate housekeeping. His focus areas include Labor Policy and Practices Audit, Technology Law, and Data Protection.
Julie Ann Martinez, CPP, CHRP
With six years of dedicated service, Julie has had the privilege of leading the Implementation team, responsible for onboarding new clients to Sprout’s product offerings. During her tenure, she initiated the expansion and rebranding of Sprout’s Payroll Professional Services, which is now referred to as Professional Services. Her role also encompasses the management of the Professional Services team, particularly the Payroll Outsourcing division, and overseeing its growth to provide a comprehensive range of services.
Julie’s educational background includes a degree in BS Clinical Psychology from PUP, complemented by certifications such as Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). She brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the Payroll and HR field, coupled with a deep understanding of the BPO industry, with a specialization in local Payroll and Accounting services.Arianne Mayie Ong-Carias
In her role as Professional Services Manager at Sprout for 5 years, Arianne was instrumental in establishing the Professional Services division. When she joined in 2018, it was primarily focused on Payroll Outsourcing with a small team of 5 and a limited client base. By 2023, her team had grown to 12 members, serving 27 clients for Payroll Outsourcing, 10 for Sprout Gov, 3 for Benefits Administration, and 2 for Payroll on Demand. Arianne’s passion is simplifying payroll processes for Philippine businesses, allowing them to focus on their core success.
Arianne graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Internal Auditing from Far Eastern University – Manila, holds Civil Service Professional Eligibility, and is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP). She has over 10 years of experience in PH Payroll and BPO, specializing in local Payroll and Outsourcing Services. Her expertise also includes auditing compliance and accounting services.
Atty. Psydi Mae O. Oatemar, CPA
Atty. Psydi is a licensed lawyer, passing the 20/21 Bar Examinations. She works at Sprout Solutions Phils Inc, a leading HRIS software provider in the Philippines. She joined as a Legal Counsel in July 2022 and was promoted to Lead Legal Counsel in February 2023. Her expertise covers Labor, Civil, Commercial, and Technology Laws, and she’s pursuing ISO27001 Lead Auditor certification.
Before her legal career, she briefly worked as a Legal Researcher for a government agency. She previously worked as a Certified Public Accountant for seven years at Ateneo de Naga University and had a private accounting/tax practice for over three years. Starting in the 2023-2024 academic year, she joined the faculty at the University of Nueva Caceres – School of Law.
Atty. Dominic Umandap
Atty. Dom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and a Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo de Manila University. During law school, he gained experience at renowned law schools in the country. He also assisted indigent clients at the Ateneo Legal Services Center.
After becoming a licensed lawyer, he worked as a Junior Associate for a Corporate Practice law firm. Currently, he serves as Legal Counsel at Sprout Solutions, overseeing Professional Services for HR and legal matters, applying his legal knowledge and practical expertise.
Xavier Salera
Xavier graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Management from De La Salle University. He initially worked as a Legal Compliance Associate, concentrating on regulatory compliance for businesses in the Philippines, including government registration and amendments.
He currently serves as a Legal Assistant at Sprout, focusing on the Growth, Customer Success, and Consumer Pillars of the company.
Sam Taguibao
Sam holds a BS Legal Management degree with a Minor in Development and the Law. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, ranking in the Top 10 of the program and was awarded for Best Thesis in the BS LM Program. She was also nominated for Program Award. Currently, she is primarily responsible for supporting client-related matters and deliverables and specializes in Contract Management and Drafting.
Shei De los Santos
Shei De los Santos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Management from De La Salle University and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
During her college years, she interned at PwC in the consulting team, primarily handling client relations. She was also involved with the De La Salle Intellectual Property Office, where she led the drafting of patent applications.
After graduating, she joined Sprout Solutions as a Legal Assistant, providing support for HR and legal services.
Rey Angelo Salazar
Angelo graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of the Philippines Los Baños. He started his career in clinical nutrition but shifted to managing the family-operated school in 2014. To prepare for this role, he earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman and became a licensed teacher. From 2016 to 2019, he taught in a public school.
During the pandemic, Angelo joined an organization specializing in educational technology for schools. His role involved training senior high school teachers in adult learning theories and using technology effectively in their classrooms.

Insofar as deliverables, we can give ETDs. Insofar as expertise and consultations, guarantees of fixed metrics and solutions are dependent on the nature and scope of work to be done (Especially applicable to legal support). Disclaimers will be given according to the situations presented, and Sprout will give advice insofar as it is qualified.
Each service will be tailored according to the needs of the client, as per the discovery meeting and assessment. It will be subject to the prevailing market rate, adjusted for the scope of the project and the extent of the work to be done, as well as given the input of our experts.
Changes in the legal landscape must be taken into account; ETDs must not be taken as fixed deadlines (With the exception of hard deadlines, such as the submission of legal/government documents/requirements). An example is immigration services having shifting requirements (ex. Vaccination requirements, RT-PCR, quarantine guidelines, etc.)
Sprout will not be involved in the legal relationship between the client and the legal experts to avoid a conflict of interest. This extends to the information flow; it will exclusively be between the client and the legal expert.
