Mechanics
- 1 Clients/representatives will join as an individual representing the company they are working for. A company can have multiple representatives.
- 2 There will be three categories: running, walking and cycling, participants can join one or all three public events.
- 3 Race period will be from June 17, 2022 to July 22, 2022.
- 4 Event is open for Sprout customers and non-Sprout customers.
- 5 For non-Sprout customers they can participate and purchase merchandise but are NOT eligible for any raffle prizes.
- 6 Download the Stampede: Races app and create an account.
- 7 Select the category you want to join.
- 8 The running event will have a minimum distance of 40km, the walking event will have a minimum distance of 180,000 steps (6,000 steps per day) equivalent to 137.16 km, and the cycling event will have a minimum distance of 100km.
- 9 Distances are cumulative so participants can run, walk or cycle multiple times throughout the duration of the event.
- 10 Participants will submit their activities to the Stampede: Races app
- 11 Any app that accurately tracks time and distance within the race period is allowed, as long as participants can take a screenshot of their activity afterwards and submit it as an entry. - The easiest method is to Sync with Strava. Stampede: Races integrated this feature so the participant’s entry is automatically validated by Strava.
- 12 Participants can submit entries on a daily basis or bulk only within the race period.

The easiest method is to Sync with Strava. Stampede: Races integrated this feature so the participant’s entry is automatically validated by Strava but it can also be done manually. Any app that accurately tracks time and distance within the race period is allowed, as long as participants can take a screenshot of their activity afterwards and submit it as an entry.
There will be no winners per category. In order to be eligible to win prizes, participants must meet the necessary kilometer distance assigned to a prize.
Your registration fee already covers the three events which means you already have access to join the three categories. However, it is still up to you to choose which category you want to participate.
